Its all about the graphics..
Anybody that has skateboarded for even a short time can remember the graphics on their deck. Some how those graphics spoke to you. It represents a time in our life and its how we chose the deck and proudly showed the art on the bottom and yet, when the deck was put to it’s real purpose the art was sadly ruined. Its seems an odd place for some of the best art around. Skateboarding is all about the stunts, tricks, performance, but there is another aspect behind all that. A creative aspect that deserves it’s place in history. Its a place for personal expression and stunning creations. They may be fleeting expressions, or maybe not. Perhaps the deck has been preserved and now proudly displayed. Other graphics may be slightly scarred but still deserve a place to be admired. In fact, for some, the dings and scars add to the character of the art. Of course, there is the art that is never meant to be thrashed, just enjoyed. What ever your taste, skateboard graphics are an amazing array of all levels of artistic expression.
